Kuantan New Port

Kuantan New Port, a multipurpose port on Malaysia's east coast, has undergone significant transformation. Once accommodating vessels up to 55,000 deadweight tonnes, the port now comprises two distinct terminals. Kuantan Port 1 continues to serve smaller vessels, while the New Deep-Water Terminal (NDWT), operational since 2018, handles larger vessels up to 180,000 deadweight tonnes, primarily focusing on dry bulk and break-bulk cargo.

While the port itself is primarily an industrial hub, nearby attractions offer opportunities for exploration. Take a day trip to Amédée Lighthouse, a short boat ride from Nouméa, for beach relaxation, aquatic activities, and a taste of local cuisine. Immerse yourself in the underwater world with scuba diving or snorkeling adventures to encounter majestic manta rays in Ouvéa and the Isle of Pines. For a thrilling experience, try skydiving over the stunning lagoon landscape.

After a day of exploration, return to Nouméa to experience the vibrant local markets, offering fresh produce, seafood, and handcrafted items. Immerse yourself in the city's nightlife, with beachfront lounges, rooftop bars, and dance clubs providing ample entertainment options.
