Jask

Bandar-e-Jask, situated on the Gulf of Oman roughly 1,690 kilometers south of Tehran, boasts a warm and dry climate influenced by its arid and semi-arid surroundings. The town holds historical significance – it was once a center for the ancient Mitraism cult, and the British East India Company established a trading port here in 1619. Since 2008, it has also served as an important base for the Iranian Navy.

History and nature enthusiasts will find much to explore in Bandar-e-Jask. Explore the historical site – the Temple of Anahita – or marvel at the scenic beauty of the eastern and western ranges of the Bashagard Mountains. The town's tranquil coastline provides a perfect setting for relaxation.

When it comes to shopping, browse the local markets for traditional goods and souvenirs that reflect the local culture. You can also find unique handmade items in the area's shops. In the evenings, unwind with the serenity of the coastal environment, enjoy stargazing, or participate in occasional local gatherings.
