Jazirat Halul

Jazirat Halul, or Halul Island, lies about 90 kilometers northeast of Doha, Qatar. This strategically important island serves as a storage area and loading terminal for oil extracted from nearby offshore fields. The Qatari Navy also maintains a base here.
