Balhaf

Balhaf, an industrial port town and oasis on Yemen's Burum Coast, offers a unique blend of industry and natural beauty. Palm trees and white sand give way to fields of black lava, leading to the fishing port of Bir-Ali.

Explore the rugged coastline or visit the I’écart area, home to a turquoise crater lake formed by an extinct volcano.  While Balhaf's success stems from the Yemen LNG project, extensive shopping centers or infrastructure are not a feature here.
