Ash Shihr Oil Terminal

Ash Shihr Oil Terminal, situated on the Gulf of Oman coast, is an operational facility approximately 230 nautical miles east of Aden.  This terminal, operated by Canadian Nixen Yemen, consists of a Single Point Mooring Buoy capable of handling large export tankers. 

Given its industrial focus, shopping options are limited near Ash Shihr. However, you might find essential goods at the local markets. The rugged beauty of the coastline with sandy beaches and the open sea provides a scenic backdrop. While not a tourist destination, Ash Shihr's history is tied to oil production.
