Al Khair Oil Terminal

The Al Khair Oil Terminal, situated 3 km southeast of Port Sudan, is a crucial part of Sudan's oil industry. Operational since 2003, it can handle oil tankers up to 50,000 DWT and boasts an annual capacity of 2.67 million tonnes. Managed by the Seaports Corporation, the terminal adheres to international security regulations (ISPS).
