Mitsiwa, also known as Massawa, is a historic gem situated on the northern Red Sea coast of Eritrea.  This former capital of Italian Eritrea boasts a rich history, having been a crucial port for centuries under various empires.  The city experiences scorching temperatures, with an average of nearly 30°C (86°F), making it one of the world's hottest coastal locations.
