Palanca Terminal

Palanca Terminal, situated 23 nautical miles off Angola's coast, is a vital offshore oil production facility. The terminal consists of oil production platforms, the "Palanca" Floating Storage Barge (FSB) with a capacity of 274,000 DWT, and an Auxiliary CALM Buoy used for loading operations.

Loading can occur either in tandem with the FSB or at the SBM buoy. The maximum vessel sizes allowed depend on the chosen mooring method, ranging from 40,000 to 300,000 DWT.
