Bouri Oil Field

Bouri Offshore Field, located 120 kilometers north of the Libyan coast, is a significant contributor to Libya's oil production. Discovered in 1976, it holds an estimated 4.5 billion barrels of recoverable crude oil and 3.5 trillion cubic feet of associated natural gas, making it the largest producing oilfield in the Mediterranean.

Due to its offshore location and primary focus on oil production, the Bouri Oil Field doesn't offer typical tourist attractions. Visitors primarily come for business and industry-related purposes. While there are no specific shopping or nightlife options directly associated with the oil field, nearby coastal cities like Az Zawiya or Tripoli offer a variety of shopping and entertainment opportunities.
