Tuapse, a town situated on the Black Sea's northeastern shore, is a key transport hub connecting Sochi by land and serving as a crucial export point for oil and fertilizer.  Its population is approximately 61,571.  Tuapse boasts ancient roots as part of historical Circassia, becoming a part of Russia under Tsar Alexander I. The modern settlement dates back to the establishment of the Russian fort Velyaminovsky in 1838.

Tuapse offers a variety of attractions for visitors. Explore the Kiselev Rock, a notable landmark, or stroll along the beautiful tree-lined Platanovaya Alley. Climb the Control Tower of the Sea Port for a unique perspective, or delve into the past at the Dolmens of Anastasievka, ancient ruins waiting to be discovered.

Enjoy scenic waterfront views at the Tuapse Embankment, or learn about local history at the Alexander Kiselev Museum. Admire the beauty of the Fountain Stone Flower, or explore the rich military history of the region at the Historical and Local Lore Museum of Tuapse Military Defence.

For a relaxing day by the sea, head to the Central City Beach. When it's time to shop, the Krasnaya Ploshhad Shopping Mall offers a variety of stores to explore.  In the evening, unwind at local nightspots like Tri Kabana, Krasny Lev, or Topol.
