Old Kilpatrick, a charming town with an estimated population of 4,820, rests on the north bank of the River Clyde, just three miles west of ClydebankThe Forth and Clyde Canal runs alongside the town, adding to its scenic appeal.  Tradition claims St. Patrick was born here, lending the village its name (Scots: Auld Kilpaitrick, Gaelic: Cille Phàdraig).
