Vordingborg

Vordingborg, an old ferry town in Vordingborg Municipality, Denmark, with a population of around 12,000, is steeped in history and charm. The town's development is unique, with three satellite towns (former villages) emerging around Vordingborg due to the presence of three large estates.

Vordingborg Castle ruins, particularly the 26-meter-tall Goose Tower (Gåsetårnet), are the town's most famous attraction. This iconic tower is the largest of King Valdemar Atterdag's nine main castle towers and features a golden goose perched on top.
