Puerto Prodeco
Located in Colombia, Puerto Prodeco, also known
as Puerto
Zuñiga, served as a crucial coal export port for the Prodeco Group, the nation's
third-largest coal exporter. Prodeco, a division of Glencore plc, specializes in the exploration, production,
transportation, and shipping of high-grade thermal and metallurgical coal.
While the port itself is no longer operational in its former capacity, its
proximity to towns like Santa Marta, Ciénaga, and Puebloviejo offers
historical significance within the Colombian coal industry.
