Belanak Field Terminal
Belanak Field Terminal, located in the
South China Sea, approximately 45 nautical miles north of Matak Island,
Indonesia, is a critical facility for oil and gas production. Comprising two
wellhead platforms, a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit
named "Belanak Natuna," and a Catenary
Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) Crude Oil Offloading Buoy, the terminal plays a vital role in the region's
energy sector.
While the primary function of the
terminal is oil and gas operations, visitors can observe the complex machinery
and processes involved in marine production. The surrounding South China Sea is
known for its rich marine biodiversity, offering potential opportunities for
marine enthusiasts.
