Dalia Terminal
The Dalia
Terminal, located approximately 130 miles northwest of Luanda, Angola,
is a massive offshore facility crucial to the country's oil production. The
terminal utilizes two loading points: the SPM (Single Point Mooring) serving as
the main option, and the FPSO Dalia, which primarily handles methanol loading
and can act as a backup for crude oil.
The FPSO Dalia
itself is an engineering marvel. This
behemoth boasts a displacement of 425,000 tonnes and stretches 300 meters long,
60 meters wide, and 31.5 meters deep.
With a draft of 23.24 meters, it sits deep in the water and features a
distinctive flare at the bow.
