Kizomba A Terminal

Kizomba A Terminal, located around 200 nautical miles off the Angolan coast, is an offshore facility servicing the Hungo and Chocalho oilfields in Block 15. The terminal consists of several key components:

* The Kisomba “A” FPSO, a massive vessel operated by Esso Exploration Angola. This workhorse boasts an impressive length of 285 meters, a beam of 63 meters, and a storage capacity of 2.2 million barrels of oil.

* A CALM Buoy, moored roughly 1 nautical mile north-northwest of the FPSO, facilitates mooring and offloading operations.

* A dedicated Drilling and Wellhead Platform connected to subsea wells for oil extraction.

 With approximately 24 vessels visiting annually, Kizomba A Terminal plays a significant role in Angolan oil production.
