Odudu Terminal
Odudu Terminal, situated
approximately 48 kilometers southeast of West Point in Nigeria, stands as a
vital component of the country's oil industry. Located within Oil Mining Lease
(OML) 100, the terminal receives crude oil from the Odudu, Ofon, and Amenam
fields. Comprising an FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading)
vessel, a purpose-built barge, and a CALM buoy, the terminal facilitates the
efficient handling and export of crude oil.
While
primarily an industrial facility, the terminal offers glimpses of the vast
expanse of the Gulf of Guinea. The rhythmic hum of machinery and the distant
glow of oil rigs against the night sky create a unique atmosphere.
