northeastern Libya on the Gulf of Sidra, is Libya's second-largest hydrocarbon complex. Designed by Greek architect Konstantinos
Apostolos Doxiadis, the town is built from prefabricated concrete parts and
consists of several settlements, including Old Brega and New Brega.

distinct areas, each with its own purpose and features. Al-Najm University of Technology, founded in
