Midia
The Port of
Midia, located on Romania's Black Sea coastline, serves as a satellite
port to Constanța. Designed to support
nearby industrial and petrochemical facilities, this port covers over 834
hectares and boasts 14 berths. Increased
depths at oil discharging berths allow access to larger tankers. The main cargo handled here includes oil
products, natural gas, and various building materials.
While the port itself isn't a tourist destination, several interesting
sights lie nearby. Explore the Potters Tower in Sibiu, Transylvania, which is part of the
city's fortifications. For shopping and
nightlife options, venture to nearby Constanța.
