Qutdleq
Qulleq, also known as Qutdleq or Kutdlek, is an uninhabited island situated within the King Frederick VI Coast, part of the Sermersooq municipality in southern Greenland. The island boasts an irregular shape and is positioned off the southeastern coast of Greenland. It lies 5.5 kilometers from the mainland, near the mouth of the Anorituup Kangerlua fjord, to the north-northeast of Cape Tordenskjold and northeast of Nuuk Point. On Qulleq's southern coast lies Qutsigsormiut, a significant Paleo-Eskimo archaeological site. This site is adjacent to a south-facing bay known as Qulleq Sound, which provides a sheltered natural harbor. A LORAN transmitting station was once constructed on the island's southeastern point but now stands abandoned.
