Pakhi Oil Terminal
Pakhi Oil
Terminal, also known as the Pachi Crude Oil Terminal, is situated
in Megara, Greece. As
the most important facility for Hellenic Petroleum, the Greek energy giant,
the Pakhi Oil Terminal boasts the largest capacity in Greece for handling crude
oil. Tankers of up to 500,000 DWT (deadweight tonnage) can be accommodated at
the terminal.
While the Pakhi Oil
Terminal itself is an industrial facility, the surrounding area offers a
delightful escape. Explore nearby beaches for relaxation, or visit vineyards in
the picturesque village of Naoussa for romantic wine tastings. If you're looking for vibrant
nightlife, venture to nearby towns like Parikia and Naoussa on the island
of Paros, or Ios, another Greek island known for its electric nightlife scene.
